In a few lines tell us what you like (favourite colour, song, movie, food…)?
I’m an illustrator, I’m 24 years old, and I’m passionate about art, colours and pad Thaï! I love all kinds of music: from electric to soul, and also art films and graphic novels.
How did your career start?
My career started two years ago, after my graphic studies. I dived directly into illustration.
Where does your passion for art come from?
I’ve always been interested in art; my parents have artistic souls and shared their passion for creation with me since I was little. But it was in High school when I started my studies in applied art, and burying myself with the artistic and creative world.
Where do you get your inspiration?
I find a little bit of inspiration everywhere, a moment, a colour, a meeting, life….
Who is you favourite artist? Famous or not.
I have a lot of them! But more recently I found a great graphic designer, so I would say, Bretch Evens.
How do you proceed to create?
I often tell myself little stories, and then I let my pen ramble on my paper and things gradually shape. For painting, I create on instinct for associations of colours. I normally draw at my place, and when it’s sunny I enjoy going to the park.
How would you describe your work ?
My work exists in a universe that relies on a lot of graphical elements and colours. Characters and life scenes oppose themselves and complete themselves at the same time. It is a whole thing that is composed of creatures, weird monsters with a colourful and peaceful micro-cosmos.
Twitter or Facebook ?
Facebook and twitter are somehow the same thing, rather I prefer meeting people in person.
What advice would you give to your clients to help them create artworks?
To have the passion inside and to not be scared of doing things.
One last comment ?
God bless art!
