One look was all we needed to know Vesela

/ aurelien

Today we are glad to introduce Vesela, a young designer who took the time to answer to some of our questions. Let's see what she has to tell us.

Tell us what you like in two lines (color, song, film, food…)

The sea, the smell of coffee in the morning, pancakes with jam and white cheese :)...actually food in general, Imagine Dragons - Demons, City of Angels, traveling ...

Tell us about the beginning of your career.

I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil and arts / graphic design was the only thing I ever wanted to do. (I suspect it's the only thing I am good at.)
I started doing logo competitions online, and for the first 3-4 years I've been "specializing" in corporate design & branding.

Where does your passion for art come from?

I was born that way, there is no particular moment I realized I like arts... I just always have been drawn to dance, music, fine arts...

When you go back to your birth town, where do you actually go?

I go home... to the beach!

Where do you find inspiration?

Everywhere. Inspiration for me could be found in song lyrics, the way nature changes colors transitioning through seasons... when I feel strongly about something, positive or negative I get very creative too.

Who’s your favorite artist? Famous or not.

There are so many... I love Dali for all the symbolic in his works and their layers of interpretation. I like the Impressionists too.

How do you create? Where?

At home, listening to music and watching a movie at the same time.I cannot create without noises around.

How would you describe your work?

It is very colorful, happy, a little bit vintage, a little bit geometrical...I don't like definitions and labels, and so my work does not fall in a certain column.

What do you think about wall stickers?

I think it is a cool idea! Definitely on my TO-DO list.

Twitter or Facebook?

I actually prefer Instagram :) ( @vessdsign )

What would you tell your clients to help them create artworks?

Make them personal! "Beautiful" isn't an universal thing, so don't try to create "beautiful" things... create meaningful art.

One last comment?
Thank you for the interview, and thank you to each and every person who is reading it right this moment!
